Lady Laker Soccer has big night in win over district rival Clinton County

Maddison Weisbrodt scores one of her two goals in Russell County’s win over Clinton County.

The Lady Laker Soccer team easily defeated district rival Clinton County at home last night.

The Lady Lakers came away with a 10-0 win over the Lady Bulldogs, moving to 2-2 on the season with both wins being district wins.

Abigail Money led the scoring for Russell County with four goals on the night, while Adriana Thomas scored 3, Madison Weisbrodt scored 2, and Marissa Hatchett scored 1 goal.

The JV team also won over Clinton County by a score of 6-0.

Addison Coffey led the scoring in the JV game with four goals.

The Lady Lakers are back in action tonight as they travel to Wayne County.
