Mayor lauds city employees, volunteers for working Lakefest earlier this month

Thursday night saw a short, special-called monthly meeting of the Jamestown City Council, as the meeting was moved forward a week due to Mayor Regena Hinton being unable to attend the regularly scheduled meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 21st.

The lone item on the agenda was the approval of minutes from the council’s last meeting back on June 16th, which were unanimously approved by city leaders, and with it being a special-called meeting that was all that could be discussed.
