A Russell County grand jury has returned indictments against 20 individuals, including six for violation of gambling laws. Those indicted include:
- Stanley Luttrell, 67, of Russell Springs, Jeffrey Price, 44, of Dunnville, Joseph Yeadon, 67, and Harold G. Powell, 66, of Jamestown, Daniel Burton, 55, of Columbia, and Rejeshkum Patel, 40, of New Jersey charged with promoting gambling by setting up a gambling device.
- Charles Curnutte, 54, of Jamestown charged with burglary 2nd degree, criminal mischief, public intoxication, and possession of burglar’s tools.
- Richard Rodgers, 42, of Russell Springs and Jessica Helm, 29, of Jamestown charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rodgers was also indicted for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and being a persistent felony offender.
- David B. Johnson, 35, of Russell Springs charged with speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, theft of identity, wanton endangerment, failure to notify DOT of change of address, failure to produce insurance card, and being a persistent felony offender.
- Ronald Litteral, 32, of Russell Springs charged with failure to wear seatbelt, obstructed windshield, failure to produce insurance card, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, trafficking in methamphetamine, and being a persistent felony offender.
- Mistie Collins, 44, of Russell Springs charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.
- Ormit Kelsey, 32, of Russell Springs charged with strangulation, 4th degree assault, unlawful imprisonment, 2 counts of resisting arrest, wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property, 3rd degree assault, and menacing.
- Jared Lloyd, 44, of Jamestown charged with rape 1st degree, sodomy, and being a persistent felony offender.
- Demetrias Matherly, 28, of Bethelridge, charged with strangulation, assault 4th degree, wanton endangerment and being a persistent felony offender.
- Alicia Ropp, 24, of Russell Springs charged with bail jumping.
- Jessica French, 30, of Russell Springs charged with two counts of fraud or false statement in obtaining benefits over $1,000.
- Georgianna Richardson, 67, of Jamestown charged with failure to illuminate head lamps, no operator’s license, failure to notify DOT of change of address, possession of a controlled substance not in proper container, trafficking in hydrocodone, and driving under the influence.
- Jack Lusk, 34, of Jamestown charged with theft by unlawful taking ($1,000 or more) and being a persistent felony offender.
- Jeremy Vanfleet, 39, of Russell Springs charged with bail jumping and being a persistent felony offender.
- Latasha Popplewell, 34, of Russell Springs charged with bail jumping and being a persistent felony offender.
- Shane Grant, 49, of Jamestown charged with bail jumping.
