Russell County junior tennis player Lucas McFall fell short in the region championship in Bowling Green yesterday.
McFall lost to Greenwood’s Dylan Dethridge in the region championship at South Warren.
As runner-up, McFall qualified for the state tournament, his second appearance, which will begin May 31.
McFall was also named to the All-Region team.
