Local Vietnam veteran Roger Blair will be posthumously honored at the 2022 In Memory ceremony on the grounds of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Blair was drafted into the United States Army on January 26, 1966. He served two tours in Vietnam and was both a Purple Heart and a bronze star recipient.
He passed away March 7, 2022.
The In Memory Program honors those who served in Vietnam, returned home and later died. Every year, there is an induction ceremony to pay tribute to these men and women.
The 2022 In Memory ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (“The Wall”) in Washington, DC.
