Russell County back in green on new COVID map

Russell County is back in the green on the latest COVID data map from the CDC.

Being in the green, the best color category possible, means that Russell County has had less than 10 COVID-related hospital admissions per 100,000 population over the last seven days and the number of inpatient hospital beds occupied by COVID patients is less than 10 percent.

All but six of Kentucky’s 120 counties found themselves in the green category when the report was released last Friday.
