In a matchup with Taylor County on Tuesday, the Laker Tennis teams saw mixed results.
On the boys side, Lucas McFall came away victorious with a 2-0 win, but Carson Buras and Paxton Trautman each lost in singles competition.
And in boys doubles, both Laker pairs fell short. Jay Bailey and Jaxon Popplewell lost a close one with a score of 2-1, while the duo of Buras and Trautman also took a loss.
The Lakers had success in girls singles action. Ellie Terry, Abby Helm, and Jasmine Grant each won singles matches on the day.
The Lakers didn’t quite have the same success in girls doubles, although the duo of Breanna Trautman and Grace Jennette did pick up a doubles win.
