A second Adair County student has passed away from injuries following a fatal collision last weekend in neighboring Adair County.
Sixteen-year-old Dalton Gilbert had been hospitalized since the accident but succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash earlier this week.
The two-vehicle wreck happened Sunday morning on Bridgewater Road.
Earlier this week, Adair County Schools announced that 13-year-old Shyanna Marie Harmon had also passed away in the crash.
The wreck remains under investigation by KSP Trooper Brandon Roark.
