The Russell County Board of Education will hold a special-called meeting on Wednesday at noon.
The lone item for discussion is an amendment to the district’s student code of acceptable behavior and attendance policy.
The board is expected to discuss changing the discipline policy for students who are caught vaping or are in possession of vaping or tobacco/alternative tobacco products on school property at the meeting.
The meeting will take place at the Russell County ANC in the room above the pool.
