As COVID cases continue to drop, Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford told WJRS News on Monday that for the first time in months, Russell County Schools reported no positive COVID cases among students or employees.
The district does have a couple students who are in quarantine due to exposures outside of school facilities, however.
This news is quite the change from just over a month ago. In late January, Russell County Schools were reporting nearly 100 positive cases among students and more than 20 among staff.
