The Russell County Middle School 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams advanced to the conference championship games with wins on Monday.
The 7th grade team defeated Metcalfe 2-0 and the 8th grade team defeated Green County 2-0 to pick up the victories.
The 7th grade won 21-11 and 21-17, and 8th grade won 21-19 and 21-18.
The teams will both take on Adair County in the championships at Adair County on Thursday. The 7th grade game will start at 5 p.m. with the 8th grade to follow.
