Laker Baseball falls in final of 2A Sectional

The Laker Baseball team dropped its first game of the season in the finals of the 2A sectional on Saturday, a 5-4 loss to Franklin-Simpson.

The Lakers trailed 5-0 in the 5th inning, but the comeback came up just short, resulting in the first loss of the season for the Lakers.

The Lakers won their first game of the day on Saturday, easily defeating Allen County-Scottsville by a score of 17-0 in three innings.

The Lakers now sit at 4-1 on the season and travel to Green County tonight to take on the 4-3 Dragons. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
