The status of Russell County Hospital CEO Patrick Branco’s employment at the facility seems to be up in the air.
As of Tuesday afternoon, the hospital declined to comment on whether Branco was still employed as CEO at the hospital.
The Russell County Hospital Board of Directors is set to discuss a potential interim CEO at a special-called meeting Wednesday afternoon, according to a notice sent out Tuesday morning.
The meeting will be at 4 p.m. at the Duo Broadband Board Room.
The board will have an executive session for discussion and consideration of possible action upon contracts related to employment, discussion with possible action regarding position of interim CEO, and discussion with possible action regarding matters relating to administrative duties for personnel.
