Two arrested on meth, other charges

Two Russell County residents were arrested on Sunday afternoon on methamphetamine and other charges, according to jail records.

Justin Emerson, 31, of Russell Springs, was arrested by Deputy Sheriff Corey Meyer on charges of possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, non-payment of court costs, fines or fees and two counts of contempt of court.

Misty Walker, 43, of Jamestown, was also arrested by Deputy Meyer on charges of possession of a controlled substance first degree, first offense (methamphetamine) and tampering with physical evidence.

Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
