Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Corey Meyer recently received the 2021 Governor’s Award for Occupant Protection Enforcement.
The award is given to officers who are vigilant in areas of child safety seat violations and seat belt violations, along with driving under the influence, with hopes of making Kentucky’s roadways safer.
