The need for blood is greater than ever and local patients need blood for a variety of reasons including cancer treatments, premature births, car accidents, diseases, surgeries and more.
The Kentucky Blood Center is hosting the monthly community blood drive today at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room, located at 2405 N. Main Street in Jamestown, from 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
All donors will receive a limited-edition “Give Love” shirt and one lucky donor will win a $100 gift card sponsored by Lawless and Smith True Value in Russell Springs.
