A middle school student was reportedly stabbed by another student in a restroom Tuesday, according to a report from the Adair County Community Voice.
The victim reportedly avoided serious injury, and the school was put on a soft lockdown for a period of time Tuesday.
Columbia Police told the Voice that the 13-year-old suspect is expected to face a charge of attempted murder.
