Neighboring Adair and Casey counties along with nearby Green and Taylor counties joined 11 other counties as being eligible for expanded resources for agricultural producers as they rebuild operations following the recent string of severe weather events that affected the area.
Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman announced this week that U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack has signed a Secretarial Disaster Designation for those counties.
