A Russell County High School FFA Team placed first in a region competition this week.
The team of Morgan Taylor, Jaren Fischer, Emily Johnson, and Cass Foley competed in the Ag Sales Team Leadership Development Event, finishing first and advancing to the state competition.
Morgan Taylor was the overall high individual and Jaren Fischer was the third overall high individual.
This event is made up of a written test, a team sales practicum and an individual sales practicum.
