7th and 8th graders defeat Hart County to advance in conference tournament

The 7th and 8th grade Lakers easily defeated Hart County on Monday to advance in the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference Tournament.

The 7th graders won by a score of 50-16. It was Tanner Stringer and Cameron Bolin leading the way with 12 and 10 points, respectively. Tyson Stille scored 8, Myles Davis finished with 6, and Mannix Bell added 5 points. Jaden Wooten scored 4, Ty Coffey scored 3, and Jace Skaggs added 2 to round out the scoring for the 7th grade team.

The 8th grade team also won big with a final score of 53-24. Dylan Stanelle led all scorers with 15, followed by Max Davis with 9, Kinnett Wills with 8, Bryson Irvin with 5, Walker Stephens and Jordan Beck with 3 each, and Maddox Shearer, Noah Bennett, Noah McMillin, Webber Wilson and Carter Stapp with 2 points each.

The teams advance to the semifinals to take on Green County on Thursday.
