The Russell County Middle School 8th grade basketball team defeated Adair County Thursday night by a score of 70-25.
Max Davis and Noah McMillin led the scoring with 14 points each, and Dylan Stanelle and Webber Wilson added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Noah Bennett and Adrian Eads scored 6 points each, and Maddox Shearer, Kinnett Wills, Bryson Irvin, and Jordan Beck each scored 2 points.
The 7th grade team fell by a score of 56-45. Tyson Stille led the scoring with 18, followed by Mannix Bell with 12, Alex Norton with 6, Tanner Stringer with 4, Jaden Wooten with 3, and Gabe Browning with 2.
The 6th grade team fell by a score of 42-29. Myles Davis led the scoring with 13, followed by Conner Davidson with 6, Luke Walters with 4, Will Coffey with 3, and Gunner Godbey with 3 points as well.
The RCMS Lakers are back in action on Monday as they travel to Campbellsville.
