Russell County FFA traveled to Murray State University for the Kentucky FFA State Horse Judging and Vet Science career development events.
Callie Reynolds won the state high individual award for horse judging, beating almost 100 other FFA members from across the state. The team placed 2nd overall out of 26 teams.
Addison Coppage, Alexis Fox, Chloe Robertson and Emily Coe also competed. Addison Coppage was 6th high individual and all team members finished in the Top 50.
The Vet Science team made up of Abby Wolford, Will Stephens, Bryanna Smith, and Jaxon Popplewell placed 14th overall.
FFA members also toured Murray State University and attended the Racer Roundup Collegiate Rodeo.
