The Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball team will take on Metcalfe County in the opening round of the 16th District Tournament on Monday.
The Lady Lakers will play in the second game of the day, slated to begin around 7 p.m. at Cumberland County High School.
The winner will secure a spot in the 4th Region Tournament in Russellville.
The district championship will be played the following night, Tuesday Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.
