Two Russell County residents were indicted by an Adair County grand jury last week.
Those indicted were:
Ronald D. Bunch of Jamestown, charged with strangulation first degree, being a persistent felony offender and assault fourth degree. Also indicted on charges of possession of methamphetamine – third or more offense, possession of oxycodone, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance second degree, possession of a controlled substance third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Mechelle A. McFarland of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, endangering the welfare of a minor (four counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to use a child restraint device in a vehicle.
An indictment is a legal accusation. It does not imply guilt or innocence.
