The Russell Springs Fire Department has a new chief and assistant chief.
Former assistant chief Bobby Johnson was sworn in as the department’s new chief at a special ceremony Tuesday night, and Mark Barnett was sworn in as the department’s new assistant chief.
The special ceremony was held at the fire station Tuesday night with several of the city’s firefighters in attendance.
