Jamestown man arrested for fleeing police

A Jamestown man was arrested for fleeing police on Thursday.

Timothy Stephens, age 40, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, wanton endangerment second degree, fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, inadequate silencer, and improper start from parked position.

Stephens was arrested by Deputy Corey Meyer and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 3:30 p.m.
