According to Russell Springs Police Chief Tim Pierce, Officer Kyle Wilson initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Lakeway Dr. for a violation late Friday night. Consent to search the vehicle was granted. Officers located illegal substances.
Sandra Dix, age 51 of Jamestown was arrested and charged with disregarding a stop sign, operating on a suspended license, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree.
Rocky Weddle, age 50 of Jamestown was arrested and charged with trafficking in controlled substance, 3rd degree and tampering with physical evidence.
Officer Kyle Wilson was assisted on scene by RSPD Senior Patrolman Jeremie West, Sgt. Matt Parrish, RCSO Deputy Corey Meyer, Deputy Nathan Ginn, and Constable Kenny Luttrell.
