Charles Booker has officially announced his candidacy for the United States Senate.
Booker, who lives in Louisville and has previously served as a State Representative, plans to challenge incumbent U.S. Senator Rand Paul for his Senate seat in 2022.
Booker challenged Amy McGrath in the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate, falling short in that primary.
Primary Election Day is May 17, 2022. General Election is Nov. 8, 2022.
