RSPD arrests three in traffic stop over the weekend

Russell Springs Police arrested three individuals Friday evening.

According to Russell Springs Police Chief Tim Pierce, Officer Hayden Phillips initiated a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet pickup near Aaron Dr. and Hwy 80 for traffic violations. Consent to search the vehicle was granted.

Bryson McFall, age 29 of Jamestown, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, possession of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Alexandria Popplewell, age 25 of Columbia, was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (Methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Makenzie Mayes, age 18 of Russell Springs, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (Methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officer Hayden Phillips was assisted on scene by Chief Tim Pierce, Officer Bruce Blevins, RCSO Deputy Nathan Ginn, Deputy Corey Meyer, KSP Trooper Billy Begley, and KSP DESI West.
