Russell Co. residents indicted in Adair County

Seven Russell County residents were recently indicted by an Adair County Grand Jury.

Joshua T. Philpott, of Jamestown – Possession of methamphetamine (second offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on a suspended/revoked license, and failure to produce insurance card.

Thomas V. Fortenberry, of Russell Springs – Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Brandon Gillock, of Russell Springs – possession of methamphetamine (second offense) and public intoxication.

George T. Polston, of Jamestown – Trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and failure to wear a seat belt.

Walter E. Thomas, of Russell Springs – Trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Leon Burton, of Russell Springs – Trafficking in methamphetamine, persistent felony offender second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, failure to maintain insurance, and failure to have license in possession.

Kevin L. Lawless, of Russell Springs – Fleeing or evading police first degree, wanton endangerment first degree, persistent felony offender, receiving stolen property less than $10,000, operating a motor vehicle under the influence second offense, operating on a suspended/revoked license, reckless driving, obstructing a highway, and speeding 26 mph or more over the limit.
