Local law enforcement arrested multiple individuals over the weekend.
Jeffrey Helton, age 29, of Russell Springs, was arrested on Friday by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and charged with theft by unlawful taking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of an unspecified drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
Dustin Popplewell, age 34, of Jamestown, was arrested on Friday by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of an unspecified drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking, and tampering with physical evidence.
Shannon Acree, age 29, of Russell Springs, was arrested on Sunday by Russell Springs Police and charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct second degree.
All were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
