Juliah Bault scored 23 points and dished out seven assists, Star Marcum scored 18 points with seven rebounds, and the Russell County Lady Lakers came out on top in a thrilling double-overtime victory over Somerset by a score of 65-60.
The Lady Lakers shot nearly 48 percent from the field and weathered the storm from Somerset, who knocked down 13 three-pointers.
Maleah Preston finished with nine points and Hannah Yates added eight points to go along with a team-high nine rebounds.
Sophie Shearer added five points for the Lady Lakers and Jaterria Coffey rounded out the scoring with two points.
