Russell Springs man arrested in Pulaski County

Sheriff Greg Speck reports that on January 6, 2021, Deputy Tan Hudson and Deputy Alex Wesley stopped a 2000 Nissan Frontier on KY 1642 near the Slate Branch Super Stop in Pulaski County. The Deputies identified three people sitting in the front seat of the pickup. They were identified as Kenneth Dyer, age 35, of Loveless Road in Russell Springs, Kentucky; Monica Garner (Gleason), age 31 of Davis Lane in Burnside, and Robert Dabney, age 38 of South Highway 1247, Somerset. Mr. Dyer was the driver of the truck.

During the traffic stop, the Deputies were able to search the truck. Two bags of suspected Methamphetamine, weighing approximately 2 grams, were found in the truck. The Deputies also located $548 cash. The Deputies seized the drugs and cash.
Deputy Tan Hudson arrested and charged Robert Dabney with the following:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine)

Monica Garner (Gleason) was arrested and charged with the following:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine)

Kenneth Dyer was arrested and charged with the following:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine)
• Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
• Rear License Plate not Illuminated

During the Deputies investigation, it was learned that Monica Garner (Gleason) had a Pulaski District Court Warrant on her for Failure to Appear on an Arraignment on August 10, 2020, for No Registration Plates, No Insurance, and Driving on a Suspended or Revoked License. Deputy Tan Hudson served this warrant. Ms. Garner also had a warrant on her for Theft of a 2018 Chevy Tahoe that she had allegedly stolen from her sister on Ferry Road in Pulaski County on September 16, 2020. This vehicle was recovered in North Carolina. Deputy Tan Hudson served this warrant on Ms. Garner. Deputy David Wesley investigated the initial theft of the stolen vehicle.

All three persons were transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where they remain lodged as of this press release.
The case remains under investigation by Deputy Tan Hudson, Deputy David Wesley, Deputy Alex Wesley, and Deputy Branson Patterson.
