Russell County Schools will use federal funding from the last economic relief bill to hire another English as a Second Language Teacher.
Superintendent Michael Ford said the school district has many students who are not native English speakers, and the addition of another teacher will be very beneficial for those students in the classroom.
The funds are expected to pay for the position for at least the next three years, Ford told WJRS News.
