The Russell County Lady Lakers and Lakers swept Cumberland County Monday night, bringing home huge district wins for both squads.
The Lady Lakers defeated the Lady Panthers 45-34 and now sit at 4-2 on the season with a 2-0 record in district play.
The Lakers stopped a four-game losing skid by defeating the Panthers 54-46. The Lakers are now 2-4 on the season with a 1-1 record in district play.
