A Veterans Day and Flag Raising Ceremony was held in downtown Jamestown Wednesday afternoon.
The P.O.W. flag was raised to fly directly underneath the American flag on the Jamestown Square.
Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston and Jamestown Mayor Nick Shearer were among the speakers at the event, which was organized by local veterans.
