Isaiah Gyle Rexroat, age 16, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Born March 9, 2004, in Somerset, KY, he was a son of Dennis Rexroat Bacon and Trina Stephens South. Isaiah was a junior at Russell County High School. He was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Columbia. Isaiah enjoyed working on construction projects. He was outgoing and he loved his family. Isaiah loved to sing, play the piano, and play guitar.
Survivors include his father, Dennis Rexroat Bacon (and Chris) of Oregon; mother, Trina (and Sam) South of Russell Springs; brother, Noah Rexroat of Russell Springs; sister, Britanii (and Trevor) McWhorter of Campbellsville; maternal grandparents, Linda Stephens and the late Finis Glen Stephens of Russell Springs; paternal grandparents, Alvada and Oris Rexroat of Russell Springs; and a host of other family and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be private on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Bernard Funeral Home with Pastor Troy McWhorter officiating. Burial will be at the Bethlehem Cemetery.
There will be a WALK THROUGH visitation after 5PM on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Bernard Funeral Home and from 8-11AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
Lukas Jones, Logan Stephens, Trevor McWhorter, Daniel Eubank, Aidan Antle, Camden Carpenter, Kris Patel, and Richard Jones will serve as pallbearers.
