The Russell Springs Fire Department was called to a fire on Wilson Street Monday afternoon beside The Times Journal.
Some wooden pallets located behind an auto repair shop on Wilson Street were ablaze when crews arrived, sending heavy amounts of black smoke into the air.
Crews made their way into the auto repair shop as the fire moved into the back section of the building slightly, but it seemed only slight damage occurred.
Russell Springs Fire Chief H.M. Bottom said no foul play is suspected in the fire.
