Russell County schools have announced some basic information to help parents and students prepare for the upcoming virtual start of school. Some of the information released thus far includes:
When teachers have their class list they will begin calling parents and students with some information.
The virtual school day live lessons will be recorded for those not able to watch live.
The school day is broken into a schedule and will include live instruction, independent work time while teacher is on google meet with the class, small group meeting times, and specialty classes.
Lunch will be from 11-12 and you may pick up HOT lunches at the school during this time.
As soon as the Chromebooks and iPads arrive the school will be providing information about the process to pick them up.
School officials say more information and more details will be forthcoming over the next several days. School is set to start virtually in Russell County on August 26th
