Six Active COVID-19 Cases in Russell County

Russell County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced Sunday, that Russell County had no new COVID-19 cases. The county has 6 active cases with 5 on home self-isolation and 1 is hospitalized.

On Friday it was announced the county had 4 new cases, but it was determined that one of those cases was actually a resident of Adair County.

Adair County reported one new COVID-19 case on Sunday. The new case is an employee of Summit Manor Nursing Home. Adair has had a total of 93 cases with 70 being released and 14 deaths. There are now 9 active cases with 6 in home or Summit Manor isolation and 3 in area hospitals.
