According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, the office had received confirmation from Coroner Clyde Strunk who had received confirmation from the State Medical Examiner’s Office identifying the remains as Ella Diebolt Jackson. Dental records were used to positively identify Jackson.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office met with investigators from the Richmond Police Department on Tuesday to discuss the investigation and turn over evidence from the scene where the remains were located.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner Clyde Strunk will continue to work with the Richmond Police Department in the investigation.
