Several persons have filed for city council in both Jamestown and Russell Springs in the past few days.
As WJRS News reported earlier in the week, the filing deadline for city council positions is 4pm on Tuesday, June 2nd.
Filing most recently this week include incumbents Larry Joe Murray, Mitchell Marcum, and Barry Coffey in Jamestown.
In Russell Springs, incumbents Larry Skaggs, David Blakey, Timmy Hudson and Sherry Daniel have all filed in the past couple of days.
