According to Deputy Sheriff Nathan Ginn, Yevonda Popplewell of Russell Springs was arrested Sunday afternoon on drug charges. Reports are that Popplewell was charged with possession of a Controlled Substance and Prescription Substance Not in Proper Container. Popplewell was arrested shortly before 5 Sunday afternoon and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
