State Representative John “Bam” Carney, the House Majority Floor Leader who represents neighboring Adair and Taylor County in District 51, is in the ICU at Norton Hospital in with a severe case of pancreatitis, according to a social media post from his family. Pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas. Carney has served in the legislature since 2009.
