The Eli Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire around 6:30 this morning in the Pine Crest Pak area. Upon arrival, personnel found heavy fire in a mobile home beginning to extend to a nearby mobile home. One unit was being lived in, but not occupied at the time of the fire and received heavy damage.
The other unit was a vacation home and not occupied, and only received minor damage to a porch. The fire was brought under control a little after 7:00 this (Friday) morning.
No one was injured and the Red Cross has been notified and is assisting the occupant. The occupants pet was removed from the home prior to the fire departments arrival by a neighbor and was revived at the scene by Eli firefighters. RECC, Duo Broadband, and Russell Springs Water Department assisted at the scene.
