Gas Prices Up Slightly this Week

Gas prices in our region of Kentucky are three cents higher this week at $2.36 but still four cents lower than this time one year ago, according to Triple A’s weekly gas price report.

The latest increases at the pump can be attributed to the large decrease in regional gasoline stocks – from 47.9 to 46.5 million barrels in the Energy Information Administration’s latest report. Stocks have been decreasing weekly since the end of September.

The national average increased one cent this week to $2.61.
