The Russell County High School JV Boys soccer team lost at home on Wednesday evening to Taylor County by a score of 3-0.
The Russell County Middle School football team travels to Green County this evening for a 5:30 pm kickoff in the 2019 Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference championship game. Best of luck to the Lakers in tonight’s title game.
The JV and varsity RCHS volleyball teams host district foe Clinton County this evening at Laker Gym. First serve is set for 5 pm.
Tomorrow, the Laker football team hosts district foe Warren Central at 7 pm at Finley Field for Homecoming 2019. Fifty years of Laker football will also be celebrated tomorrow night with a number of activities before and during the game. All Laker football players, coaches, managers, cheerleaders and homecoming queens are invited back to take part. Tony Kerr and Derek Aaron will be on the air with pregame coverage, beginning at 6:30 pm tomorrow on WJRS.
