Thunderstorms will increase to our west and move into the area tonight and into the day on Wednesday with this system moving through. There is a low end severe weather risk to our west, but no severe weather is anticipated for the Lake Cumberland Area as of this time, should that change we will let you know…
There’s a look at the projected rainfall totals over the next seven days. You can see amounts for our area are in that one to one and a half inch range, while parts of Central Missouri will be getting a lot of rain it appears over the next week. FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System on Wed, Aug 7, 2019 at 2:20pm EDT. The test will assess the operational readiness for distribution of a national message.
