(EMT Brad Loy returning home from UK Hospital)
Michael Brad Loy, an EMT with Russell County EMS who experienced a medical emergency while transporting a patient last Saturday and was flown to the UK Hospital in Lexington, returned home Thursday evening with a hero’s welcome as a large group of first responders and law enforcement escorted Loy’s vehicle to his home. Loy underwent multiple surgeries over the last week and his homecoming was celebrated by many as he thanked everyone for the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
