An Adair woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 55 in Taylor County on Sunday.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 15, a 2002 Ford F-150 operated by 60-year-old Allen Glen Yates of Columbia crossed the center line and struck a 2021 Nissan Rogue operated by 39-year-old Tracy York-Murrell of Columbia.
York-Murrell was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner.
A passenger in the Nissan Rogue, 33-year-old Cameron Murrell of Columbia, was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
Yates and a passenger in his vehicle, 67-year-old Karen Bishop of Columbia, were also transported to the University of Louisville Hospital.
The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
